I talked to my mom who is a trained hairstylist. Anime hair has lots of layering and takes a shit-ton of effort. Not to mention you look like a visual kei enthusiast with it.

I fucking hate my hair. In middle school, everyone called me a fucking jew because I have curly brown hair. Then people said I had nigger hair cause its course thick and curly brown like disgusting pubes. I hate my hair. Even girls look down on it.

I did in high school, unless cosmetology is your thing and you're willing to constantly maintain your hair like a model would, there's no point. Artificial colors fade much quicker than regular hair dye and it seems like Asian people are the only ones whose hair can tolerate that much processing.
