I had the exam same life, i managed to get out of it by forcing myself to go to parties and socialize AKA learn how to be a normie by myself, still not quite these yet. Listen to your mom, but on the side learn how to grow by yourself and use her money as means to reach your goals. Good luck brother

Holy shit are you me, dude? I'm going to College this Fall and it's so goddamned scary. I haven't had a single friend in five years, let alone a girlfriend, and I've only recently begun to recover from my extremely crippling social anxiety/autism. I was never allowed to go outside nor did I have any friends over. My Mom discouraged me from having a girlfriend or a girl who was a friend because she was afraid that such a girl would get me into trouble.
All I can say is.. Good luck, man. You just have to tough it out... And if it doesn't work out/the stress accumulates, just end your life. That's my plan, anyways.
