The trick is to do the impossible, petition for a new board.
And no, I'm not kidding.
The reason that this board has become normie central is because officially, it has no topic. While it's generally agreed that /r9k/ is for either sharing original greentext feels, or a board for pathetic, lonely, depressed and suicidal rejects of society, that's not what the official description of the board states. With this, the mods have no reason to delete "trap" threads, fembot threads, and all the other r-eddit normie cancer threads we're spammed with everyday.
The only solution to this problem is both simple and complicated. Make a new board specifically for robots with it's own set of rules that would prohibit normies and females from being allowed to post, less they want to be banned.
This isn't a new idea either. Several months ago IIRC, there was a legit movement for making a /beta/ board, where just some of the rules included, not allowing females to post, not allowing mentioning of doing any normie activities, or stating anything that would make you a normie (ie. me and my friends...my gf and I...you get the idea.)
The problem was...it's very difficult to get a new board created, and as expected, the movement died out entirely.
So that's pretty much it. Besides migrating to wizchan, we are helpless against the normie invasion of r9k. There is literally nothing we can do about it.
