I've had this job for 7 years now. In and out, drunk in the evening, wake up at 3am to leave for work, work 12 hours, and go back home. Monday to Friday, and I do nothing on the weekends and Monday is a half shift day.Thing is, this is the job that got me out of homelessness 7 years ago.
And my life has stagnated. I don't even hate going to work like I used to. I just do it, I'm not any happier. But homelessness made me extremely frugal. I have an extreme to the cent budget and I just save all I can because I'm too afraid to be homeless again if I spend it. So I'm just stuck in a cycle and only my nose is afloat, and I'm still able to breathe. But I'm not really happy.
