A fine choice. I have very fond memories of trying to figure out the keyboard solo on 500 miles high
Maybe this, I don't have great taste
I'm an Elton John fan.

patrician taste, good sir. 500 miles high is in heavy rotation at my place
Modest Mouse is my favorite. Doolittle by the Pixies would be my second choice.

soundtracks for the blind by swans. I don't listen too it very often, it is way too holy for that.
second favorite is Giles Corey's selftitled. I seriuosly recommend every robot to listen throught it from start to finnins.
third one is The Caretaker's An empty bliss beyond this world.
I'm open for both hate and recommendations.
literally /r9k/ the album

Because it's not /mu/
my all-time fav is actually MBV's Loveless, but this album and every other Steely Dan album sounds so motherfucking goddamn comforting.
I'm not sure what my favorite is, but this is one of my favorite releases of the year.
Mount Eerie by the Microphones is also one of my favorites
>>29560336
>SFTB
good choice. I don't like Giles Corey that much, I like HaNL better.
Anyways, if you like SFTB, you might like some free folk/drone stuff. I suggest Earth and Space Magics by Ben Reynolds.
I don't really have a favorite album but I've been listening to this one recently and I like it.

Thank you! I love HaNL as well, I think I have 1.2k scrobbles on Deathcounsiousness alone, and well over 600 on Giles Corey, all of which I've acquired in a year... I love Dan Barett so much.
I'll give your rec a listen my dude

I find that discussion of a topic not on the board it's reserved for is always better than when it's discussed on that board.
But music is for sure the biggest difference

I'm glad people still listen to fusion, I like stanley clarkes first solo album from 74, always liked stanley clarke over jaco as far as bass playing goes.
It's impossible to pick a favorite album since I change my mind every day with music, I like soft machine with allan holdsworth, not my favorite though.
>>29561212
no one stays on topic over there though, this was genuinly a nice thread were no one feels the need to be a cunt just for the hell it.
their memes and kanye worship ruins it for me
R9K has surprisingly good taste.

I don't really listen to music anymore because of my tinnitus but I still listen listen to this one from time to time.

Really unforgettable Ocean Grunge. Sea Of Dogs pretty much made that genre.
