I actually use to upload them to Facebook for my "friends" to see so maybe they'd show me some pity and try to make me feel better, it didn't work. I've always been paranoid about someone gaining access to my computer but that's very unlikely. Also, I don't like seeing/hearing myself but that's something that I should get over anyway.
Sorry your friends didn't say anything. It's possible that they didn't know what to say. It's possible that they're just jerks or don't care. I know that many people are like that.
Maybe one day you'll just go for youtube. People might be mean but others also might be interested. You'd never know unless you put yourself out there. And you might get more confident in time. Personally, I couldn't handle criticism but if you already showed them to people you know, then it might not be that bad showing them to strangers. Just don't give away any information linking it to real life and you should be okay.
