The third function is not great but it's still useable. The bottom function is trash. That's why ENTPs and ESTPs are good at manipulating socially with Fe. So the third function does matter a lot.
Us ISTPs don't project the future very often and it can take more effort but it's more realistic than what an INTJ projects just because we use Se before Ni so the projection will be based off real life data/experiences.

Being able to establish through the thinking function that their intuited ideas are mathematically sound is a lot more useful than checking ideas against sensory data. You wouldn't be able to create and send messages through a network of computers like you're doing now if everyone were limited to checking each idea they have against sensory data. All of the heavy duty work that went into making this work came from people working with highly abstract mathematical and logical constructs while either ignoring sensory data altogether or else working on mechanisms for making it easier for themselves and others to ignore more sensory data in the future e.g. moving from writing in assembly where code had to serve the machine's quirks to writing in further removed languages where the machine itself ends up having almost nothing to do with what the programmer works and thinks in terms of.

You can check intuition ideas with thought without needing to ever having anything to do with sensory experience. If an idea checks out mathematically, then it'll check out in the sensory world too. This fact is the reason why scientists have to bother learning maths in the first place.

That's a bad test. A/T isn't a real function and you're also not supposed to treat J/P as a function. J/P just determines what order the real functions are used in (J and your main extraverted function is T or F, P and your main extraverted function is N or S).

NT types are logical above everything else. The P makes them unorganized but adaptable.
So an INTP (like me) would be great at logical analysis and general thinking power, however my introversion and lack of discipline (INTJ) makes me pretty useless.
If l were extroverted (ENTP) I would enjoy communicating my ideas more and find better places to apply my thinking to, making for a good, slightly autistic leader.
Add discipline and good judgement to that and you'd end up with an ENTJ the highest achieving MBTI class.

ENTJ here. Don't hold much of a candle to it but tested a few times out of interest after gf coveted it while doing marketing at uni.
If you don't like your results, at least consider the fact that you've taken the time to take interest in your own personality, and that's top tier lads.
However, esfp is subhuman and has no place among our species; remove with efficiency and prejudice.
