You don't understand. Feminists (read: women) want men to be "real men", but in a way that benefits them. Feminism and chivalry, equality and special treatment. Women want to have their cake and eat it too, and /pol/, 4chan, most of the Internet and feminists all converge on this one issue.
I absolutely support WGTOW, though. I don't advocate it, but if women want to take some time off from men, or if they want to just not bother with men entirely, it's their choice.
