Needs a low population and a frontier to really work. Libertarianism is a romantic hot-blooded ideology for youths in young countries who can say "fuck the MAN" and go homestead somewhere.
Distributism, UBI, or georgian libertarianism are the best barring that.
Without a frontier, libertarianism leads to hyperconsolidation of wealth and tyranny due to control of critical resources.

I am Libertarian but I am not sympathetic of Ancaps as many Libertarians tend to be.
Not only is Capitalism not an end point to strive for, but Anarcho-Capitalism is 1) completely absurd 2) an oxymoron, ie, not anarchism
