this is actually really typical behavior for huskies regardless of owners. they are weirdly emotional/sensitive and have fairly unique vocalizations on top of being VERY VERY VOCAL.
there is one where i work that comes in for grooming who is owned by a man; she cries like this a lot, especially if i touch her thighs. the other two there right now wail in the kennels any time they see me as well.

i thought about this as well and it crosses my mind sometimes still, but after grooming her a few times she settled down. i guess she became familiar with me?
the tantrums are also so common with them. a girl i am friends with has been grooming dogs full time for about 6 years and she said many of them act like that for grooming. a lot of dogs don't like their hind end/tail groomed in general too. so i am not sure.
