Brit here. Just tried resetting my sleep schedule. Stayed up over 28 hours, got to sleep at 1:00 am woke up at 5:30. I was hoping that maybe I could straight reset it, but I guess I'm feeling like shit for another day.

I go to bed when my wife's alarm clock wakes her up to go to work, usually between 7 and 9. Wake up anywhere between noon and 3, but I usually lay in bed for like an hour and a half before getting up.

The job search continues. I get used to this basic schedule every summer and winter break, but this time I've graduated so I need to stop getting used to it.

I consistently fall asleep late and get around 5-6 hours of sleep minimum. I do get really tired by when I only get 5 hrs, but after I'm up for long enough I stop feeling it.

Usually in school I'm getting about 4-5 hrs of sleep then a 1-2 hr nap whenever I'm between classes.

I don't buy this for a second, oversleeping is already pretty unhealthy but sleeping for FOURTEEN hours is bad. I'm not sure what the exact health consequences are, but I've never heard of people sleeping for that amount of time. Sleeping for TEN hours at most is one thing but FOURTEEN is just insane, unless you're just making that up in which case, congrats, I ate obvious bait. If you are serious then I'd suggest you consult your physician and tell him you're sleeping for insane periods of time.

Of course I suppose it depends on what is making you sleep so long, if you're staying up for like 24 hours straight and then sleeping then it's not wonder you're sleeping for 14 hours straight, your body has to catch up if you're staying awake for long periods of time. It also depends if you're doing lots of manual labor without rest, let's say you work like 25 or 30 hours over the course of 2 days, well your body would be so exhaust that you'd most likely have to sleep for 14 or 15 hours just to recuperate from exhaustion.

If you just sleep for 14 hours a day without a plausible reason then I'd suggest consulting your physician because that isn't a normal sleep cycle.

Actually going through this thread I notice lots of you sleep for over 10 hours a day, that doesn't seem normal to me. I'm a shut in NEET robot beta faggot but I usually sleep probably 9 if not 10 hours at the most and even then that's rare for me, doctors usually say 8 or 9 hours of sleep is healthy and recommend but going over 10 hours every night really isn't healthy. Oversleeping actually makes you feel MORE EXHAUSTED, you'll wake up feeling tired and drained of energy even though you slept for such a long period of time.

There are lots of sleep disorders people can have, maybe do some research or consult your physician and discuss with him. You could have insomnia which is a very common sleep disorder among the populace, or so I've heard.

my sleep schedule was 9am-5pm once, for a period of about two or three months while NEET. It took me a while to realize I slept the exact hours stereotypical office normies were wagecucking

I'm not NEET anymore, but when I was, my sleeping hours would shift and drift naturally. So it'd go from 11am-8pm one day to 1pm-9pm next week, and so forth, and then occasionally I developed splits where I'd sleep twice in a 24 hour period for 4-6 hours each, and then those splits would suddenly disappear after staying awake for 50 hours playing video games hopped up on a crate of energy drinks, and so forth.

I kind of miss those days but I also don't.

It's fluid, there isn't a pattern really. This week I did it all. Monday-Tuesday I slept from like 10pm to 6am. Wednesday I slept at 9pm, woke up at 3am and played Titanfall until 7am. iirc I took an afternoon nap that day. Thursday-Friday I slept from 2am to 12pm. Last night I lied down at 6am, woke up at 11:30am. The week before that I was sleeping from dawn to noon.

I like waking up at around 12-1pm too. Not too early, not too late. Wake up, have supper and then vydia until it's time for the afternoon coffee. Works better in summer though when the day is longer. In winter you only get like 3 hours of sunlight.
