every one on this board complains about no gf/no friends, but whenever I give my contact info to someone who asks for it in a BF/GF thread, they are horrible at responding.
As in, literally taking days to respond to a "hey what's up" message.
these are people who are NEETS and are not "busy with other things".
Any idea why this happens? It's like they want to stay alone forever.
>>
>>29536184
people who are here, are here for a reason
>>
>>29536184
give me your contact info.
>>
>>29536184
Because they don't really want friends or to meet people. They just hate the idea of missing out on something everyone else is doing.

Because we're insanely anxious, depressed and have a hard time believing people are interested in us.

why would someone like me or want to talk to me? I hate myself. and I'm inexperienced and rusty at socialising.
>>
>>29536184
>Any idea why this happens?
They're nervous.
Hell, I can't even share my contact info in the first place.
>>
That happens because they gave you a throwaway account that they don't check often. Nobody is dumb enough to give out their real contact info on r9k.
>>
>>29536184
TOO MUCH PRESSURE OH GOD.
>>
>>29536226
But I literally "text" first. I've already made it clear that I'm interested in getting to know you, all you have to do is respond to the questions I ask

>>29536228
What are they afraid of?

>>29536225
I guess this makes sense

>>29536220
Let's talk a little first so I know you're not psycho
What kinda animals do you like, if any?
What's your biggest fear?
Do you prefer warming up when your cold, or cooling off when you're hot?
What's the coziest part of your day?
What's you opinion on race?

>>29536197
True, but the way some of them act it's like they've never been given the oppertunity to connect with someone else. I guess that's not the case for most people on here
>>
>>29536318
>What are they afraid of?
They don't want to get emotionally connected only to get hurt.
>>
>>29536241
I use a throw away account as well, but the notifications still pop up on my phone.
It's just not that difficult.
And again I'd understand if they were busy, but the only other thing they have to do is complain on r9k about how they don't have any friends, which is hypocritical when someone they enjoyed chatting with wants to be their friend.
>>
>>29536184
Because you stupid women keep picking the CHADS out of the bunch. Never had a woman give me her contact info. I sent my picture to around 5 female anons who said I was cute, but apparently I'm not cute enough to talk to.

I don't want your shitty compliment, I want GF

yeah but theres lots of people on here, and a lot of them are their own problem, and they just like to come and complain and wallow in each others shit
>>
>>29536431
I have never even seen a picture of the boys I have my info to, I give out my contact info 100% based on who I enjoy talking to

Yeah, chadlike personalities I'm guessing, either way you have shit taste in guys, and I'd rather not be picked by someone who continuously picked bad people.
>>
>>29536318
>But I literally "text" first. I've already made it clear that I'm interested in getting to know you, all you have to do is respond to the questions I ask

It's my shitty self esteem that stops this happening but ok, ask me some questions
>>
>>29536318
I don't really like animals, but I can stand most domesticated ones.
Death.
Cooling off.
Showering in the morning.
>>
>>29536557
o sorry wrong thread
>>
>>29536318
>What kinda animals do you like, if any?
Dogs, want to have a big one someday, maybe even a pair made up of a little dog and a big dog.
>What's your biggest fear?
Bugs in general, they send me into a panic most of the time where I'll feel uneasy until I kill them, have lost sleep when no body is recovered.
>Do you prefer warming up when your cold, or cooling off when you're hot?
Warming up when you're cold, definitely, nothing beats getting home from a cold winter's day and warming up with some hot cocoa and a blanket. One of the world's comfiest feels. Although cooling down with a shower or jumping into the pool also feels pretty good on a hot day.
>What's the coziest part of your day?
When I shower, it feels good to get clean and the water is very soothing.
>What's you opinion on race?
I'm not extremely racist but I do have my moments, blacks are the target of the hate 90% of the time which is pretty hypocritical of me since I've gone to school with them for half of my life and I enjoy their music.

Are you gonna tell me about yourself or do I have to wait till we exchange contact info?
I'm a fat NEET shut-in, drop me now if ever.

>>
>>29536318
It was always the opposite for myself. I often initiated out of a sincere interest, but in my personal experience, (naturally anecdotal, but still) most people are remarkably unremarkable in their inability to have any kind of cohesive conversation about various topics. They seem to be able to discuss one or a few subjects and aren't generally interested in expanding that. In addition to those things, the astonishing lack of enthusiasm or genuine willingness to write anything of merit is off-putting to say the least. Most people I've ever tried connecting with online were so difficult to respond to because they write such simple replies that give no intuitive lead in to a follow-up question or even add anything to dialogue, if it can even be called that.

It happens to me and I have done it to some anons.

Everyone has his reasons, but here are the general ones:

>anon was feeling extra lonely that day when you traded contact info
>woke up the next day and just wants to forget

>anon lies too much
>feels guilty or ashamed, basically also just wants to forget

>anon thinks or actually does blow it all in the first conversation or few conversations
>finds nothing to talk about anymore

>anon makes the contact account just for you
>forgets password

>anon thinks you're a boring cunt but is too cucked to tell you
>trades contact info cause you asked and still replies cause cuck

>anon was under some influence
>doesn't recall who you are
>>
I kind of like being alone, never really felt bad about it or lonely. I also do a lot of travel and outdoorsy stuff (camping hiking) so I guess I don't qualify as a shutin but I am definitely a loner.

Ah really? I love dogs (pic related in op is mine).
Understandable, I was afraid of death for a while.
Mm mm I agree. I love eating Popsicles outside.
Mine's kinda similar- my coziest part of the day is my bath. I light candles and eat and sip tea in the bath

>>29536588
agreed!! I love dogs! Any idea what kind of breed you'd want? I keep changing my mind because I think they're all so cute.
Haha I think I'm the same- I hate bugs but I've gone camping before(once lol) and by the end I was kinda indifferent to them.
Yep! The things you described sound awesome, though I prefer going from hot to cold.
Yeah I love showers and mostly baths!
Haha that's funny. I am not racist irl but to be honest I can literally feel myself becoming more racist when I spend time on pol.
I'll exchange contact info with you!
Make sure to actually message me back though please :(

also this is my skype [email protected] im not picky like the other anon, so just send me a message if you will.
>>
>>29537019
To be fair, there's a distinction to be made between those who're boring to you (because you're too dissimilar) and those who've terrible conversational etiquette.
You can share commonalities with someone yet communicate them in incompatible ways like the aforementioned brief replies that show disinterest on their part or are almost random. You can also not share any commonalities with someone yet be able to converse coherently if you felt the need.
One person's boringness is another's interestingness, I suppose.
>>
>>29537371
That's very true.
To be honest I care more for content than vocabulary, for example. I believe that if someone is fun to talk to and intellegent, that will shine through regardless of the complexities of their presentation.
>>
>>29537019
>Any idea what kind of breed you'd want? I keep changing my mind because I think they're all so cute.
Same, right now I'm stuck on some kind of border collie mix or a bernese mountain dogdespite their short lifespan, just means you'll have to love them twice as much while they're around, right?.
I like most breeds, the only breed I'd never be okay owning is some kind of Pit Bull Terrier, I've seen enough of the facts to know they're not the kind of dog you keep as a family pet.
Your lab is beautiful by the way.

Do you ever plan on having children in the future?

Also, I'll send you in email later in the night or in the morning at the latest, have to get around to making a new throwaway.
>>
>>29537285

W h y. L i v e

>>29537434
Ooh, both of those are lovely breeds!

These are the main ones that I keep switching between:
1) Dalmatian
2) Labrador
3) German Shepard (white)
4) American Eskimo
5) Shetland sheepdog

The last two have a lot of hair and might be hard to groom, but I think they look so beautiful when clean.
Labs are so playful and cute- and if I got one I'd want 3 (one in each color)
Dalmations are so cute and very friendly, and it would be fun to choose one with a cool pattern!
And German Shepards are just great overall, friendly, loyal, and beautiful.

I do! I want either 2 or 3 children, hopefully a boy and a girl. I'll probably opt to give birth through a C-section unless it poses risk for the child- I really don't want to wreck my downstairs.

I assume you plan on having a family? Do you have any names you prefer for children?
>>
>>29537419
Hopefully you didn't misinterpret my point as vocabulary snobbery. I mostly meant incoherent in the sense that the other person practically writes nothing but one to five word replies, (nearly everybody I've ever tried communicating with online, ever) not even full sentences, the punctuation is irrelevant as long as it doesn't change the intonation of the message.
Nobody has to write walls of text, but considering we're speaking through text, the conciser it is, the less likely it'll be misunderstood.
>>
>>29537498
yeah but not really, I enjoy playing with dogs and cats, dont know a shit about breeds dont care, I like weird animals and insects enjoy documentals and stuff like that.

All of those breeds are wonderful, except for the Dalmatian, don't know enough about them to really form an opinion, weird considering I grew up with the 101 Dalmatian movies and games. Vaguely remember someone telling me they were aggressive dogs when I was a kid, guess that stuck with me subconsciously until now, gonna look them up and get properly educated on the breed.

2 to 3 kids sounds perfect, I get paternal feels all the time, hope to have a family someday, not anytime soon of course, but someday.
Don't really have any names picked out just yet, other than passing down my own which I'll share with you eventually. Do you have some names picked out already?

I can't say I've noticed this because whoever I was contacting online wasn't someone I knew to have been somebody I'd been speaking to previously in another place.
That's to say that the initial contact with someone wasn't carried beyond our first meeting place to another place altogether.
Mostly due to my having to push the dialogue along while they seemed less than lucid. I think that's why at least some people here may be as evasive as they're, because they've become jaded by people who feign the initial effort, only to lose all enthusiasm soon after.

That's pretty much my answer. I get extremely anxious because of the whole nature of this board and how shitty people are on it. And in general on the internet, there's a huge chance you'll get "exposed" as a "nice guy", "creep", "neckbeard" or whatever the fuck and get turned into a meme or have your life ruined by various types of mobs.

I've tried replying to this message and my internet keeps messing up so bear with me.

My mother had a dalmation as a child and it was very sweet to her, though I'm not sure how th breed acts in general.

I typed out a ton of names that I like but I lost them due to Internet issues.
Here are a few of the random ones I remember:

Boy: James, Christopher, Nicholas, Joshua, Alexander, Marcus, Lucas

never knew of somebody liking centipedes, they are scary, especially those ones that are on tropical islands and can grow to huge sizes
