Withdrawals weren't that bad. I was doing heavy amounts of ecstasy and cocaine mostly. Pain killers and muscle relaxers anytime I could get them, and of course weed all day erryday.
Quit cold turkey pretty much after New Years 2016 when I blacked out at a night club and took some married girl home.
Time distortion is a definite. Bouts of intense depression are frequent. Definitely feel a lingering "haze" and slurring of my words and thoughts. Probably fried my brain doing x 2-3 times a week for 2 years. Other than that just a constant craving for blow and some weight gain.
I miss the life, but I can't go back to it.

I don't have a single clear memory. I'm honestly not even sure what happened today. Like, in some capacity I know that I had chorizo and egg for breakfast after visiting with my grandma, but did I? By tomorrow i'll be even more uncertain and dismiss those vague memories entirely.
I found an old SD card in a box recently and looked through the files. I was baffled at these images of me on an island resort with some forgotten friend. I went on this once in a lifetime trip and my only memories of it are on a fucking SD card.

Being happy just being among yourself and partaking in your hobbies is all you need to have a good life. My grandfather basically lived innawoods with his guns, hunting, working on cars, improving his knowledge in general.

I can hardly recall what happened the last 5 years. I have to work out from major changes in my life to remember the smaller stuff that happened. I wish I could escape off to some lost tribe somewhere and start a new, simpler life, work hard, marry a local girl and live out the rest of my days doing things that will actually leave an impact on me.
