This is the only one that is mildly surprising. Then again, I've been modding Skyrim on and off for years, so I guess it kind of became routine.
Shit dude, I even remember waiting for FF7 and FFT and Legend of Dragoon to come out at my local game shop because my older brother was crazy about those PS1 JRPGs, and even they don't feel old (1996-1998 I think). I was more into PC RTS at the time and that was roughly the Starcraft and AoE 2 era. I remember literally running to my apartment building as soon as I got off the kindergarten bus to catch the last few minutes of Sailor Moon, I remember wanting to rent Akira from Blockbuster because the cover looked cool but my mom said no because it had an adult rating so she got me a movie about lost pets called Homeward Bound or something instead.
I guess I just don't feel old, or worry about the passage of time in my immediate state (drunk).

Same here, it felt like a watered down game with a shitty story and fails at being an RPG. Fallout 4 is not that horrible, but it has its flaws: the ending, the writing, the perks and leveling system (I can't believe they still couldn't make it role-play friendly like NV).
It's basically Fallout 3 with better gunplay and with companions that aren't as boring and shitty. The gun modification system is good but dropping the Weapon Condition and ammo calibers and types from NV was another mistake. It's basically just a glorified FPS rather than an RPG

A new version on the Xbox One came out recently so the original dropped in price. I went to the game store to check it out since I was passing by. There are no good games these days. Some crappy Battlefield shovelware, some crappy Assassin's Creed shovelware, nothing worth paying for.
