I turned it off since it started with homosexuals having sex in the beginning. I revisited it months later after I realized the lewdness might be akin to Eyes Wide Shut of providing lewdness of Nicole Kidman in the beginning to dampen the sexual tension/possibility to the viewers for the rest of the film.
I am glad to have watched Happy Together. It is one of my favorite films.
