Is there a term to what we do here? I'm not talking about shitposting but what i wanna know is about that kind of relief or feeling ok when we basically are failed humans (most of us here). That encouragement to never change. Like those "depressed" internet celebrities. Seems like its ok to surround yourself in pettiness

No idea but the quote misery loves company sure applies here

Spleen comes to mind, except here it's a collaborative effort. We're the new Baudelaires.

That's what Spleen is: in the past, it was thought to be an organ which was the seat of emotions as mirth, ill humor (dank memes), melancholy.
Baudelaire took the name and made it into a new feeling, embodying the feels of many, that gloomy feel when you're alone and it's raining and the spiders of depression are making their webs in your skull.
Anger, sadness, melancholia. We take some kind of pleasure in our Feels, in putting them here through our keyboards.
Pic related.
learned helplessness / learned hopelessness

reddit calls it venting, but only when it's slightly edgy and angry
>tfw dont want to be a normie and actively strive not to but thats a rare feeling even on here somehow
