I JUST WANT EVERYBODY TO GET ALONG
I AM SO EXHAUSTED WHY DOES EVERYBODY ON THIS WEBSITE HATE EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING SO MUCH
>tfw there's no happy place to turn to on the internet anymore
>tfw everywhere is misery and unfriendliness is always the norm
>tfw would have to go out and make real friends to expose myself to the sugary positivity I so desperately crave, but I'm too much of a bitter cunt to be compatible with any irl individual

I like most people and enjoy conversation. What's your favorite anime?
That's why the only socialisation I participate in is casual mp games.
I'd say it's 2 things: People with good lives who come here to unwind and shitpost, and people who hate their lives and want to feel better about themselves. Obviously, it's more complex than that, but I think that's the gist.
I think that some people find it hard to empathise with "Anonymous", instead of a real human-being with a face and a voice and a smell. You see courtesy and cordiality on forums, where people have names and avatars and reputations.
Could be lack of fear. In real-life, and on forums, people hold their tongues, because they fear retribution. No such thing, here. Here, if you hold your tongue, it's because you don't want to hurt others.
However, if you go to small chans, there's a lot less hostility and cruelty. I guess it's because, even when anonymous, they feel a magnifying glass on them. Or, perhaps, the smaller size allows them to see anons as regular humans? Instead of seeing a million blurry faces, they see a few clear ones. I don't know.

That was a nice movie. I still can't believe the Flash scenes made me smile. Thought I was too jaded.
