It really depends on many circumstances. Yes, it can be slightly concerning but if you think about it there really shouldn't be many problems.
If you're an only child you can pull this off easier. If you live in a country with high (rural) unemployment and different cultural values where extended families are common (such as in Southern Europe), this is not just accepted, but sometimes even the norm. If you have a good mutual relationship with your parents and don't cause any problems for them, they have no reason at all to kick you out.
