Im 19 and I've always had a receeding hairline which I stopped giving a fuck about. Now the hair at the top of my forehead is getting noticeably thinner.
I would say the majority of men get receeding hairlines/baldness. It's nothing to be ashamed of as long as you groom well and have an appropiate hairstyle

At your point, you could grow it out a bit still and style it.
