I wish I could like anime, but I wasn't exposed to it early enough so my brain didn't set up positive associations and now it just looks like stupid shit that's way too tropey. I barely ever watch it (except Kill La Kill because enf/exhibitionism stuff is rarer than CP) and I can still easily predict what will happen next in a "oh they're doing this" kind of way. It's like all anime was produced through an algorithm.
