The graduation arc for Hiro and Sae in Hidamari Sketch was pretty hard to handle. Had recently imported volume 8 and decided to put off reading it till coming back on a long train trip back from a really shitty living experience but after reading the graduation at the start of the volume, I pretty much spent the rest of the trip with a massive lump in the throat and awkwardly trying to hide tears.
The finality of certain changes can be painful of fuck.
Have you read Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou? After I finished reading that it left me feeling utterly floored.
