who /caffeine addict/ here?
me, Love my coffee in the morning and usually another pot at night...
I've abused caffeine for years.
I had to cut back once after I went in for a checkup. The nurse was surprised I was still a functional young man, what with my outrageously high blood pressure.
I used to have a full pot in the evenings when I woke up, energy drinks all night, and a pot when I was starting to settle down for the morning and eventually go to sleep, IF I could sleep. Sometimes I would stay awake for another day or two before I crashed.
Now I abuse drugs along with my caffeine, though just not as much as before.

I don't like the taste of it. Also I don't like the idea of being addicted to caffine after seeing my zombie coworkers come in every morning.
Instead I drink 3 quarts of water and take 951219519878 pee breaks throughout the day.

Usually if it's in a drink I take a mean shit, and then it's just like nothing happened and I'm back to being tired

In pepsi max form. Miss even one of my cans in a day, cut down after a junk binge and I just sit here, slowly dying until the need for that extra spike tapers off

Yes, but none of that low quality Folgers/Nabob poorfag tier coffee. Single-origin, fruity, medium roasts for me. I'll either aeropress it or do a pour over.

Been taking caffeine pills. They're cheaper, work faster, don't dry out my mouth, and hit harder.
Still, there's something that can't be beat by a good cup of coffee early in the morning.

I've started cutting back on coffee. I've used to be able to tolerate almost a whole pot to myself and sometimes even drank before sleeping without issue. Now I'm worried if I continue this habit I'll have a heart attack or form a blood clot.

In childhood, you have more good emotions and like coffee because it amplifies what you're feeling.
In adulthood, life has fucked you enough that you need alcohol to kill the bad feels.

I only have one a day but I never go a day without coffee, on weekends I always have ice coffees
