I guess I could keep this up for decades if needed, but my father might be starting to get sick of me. My mother does understand what's wrong, I'll justify everything by saying that there are no jobs in the area (which she agrees with as it's real, if told to get a job I can just say that I searched for them online and that there were already hundreds of applications for a single minimum wage position).
So what else? The only higher education system which I qualify for is overflowing with applications too, so I can just throw in my application for these and inevitably end up not being accepted, which means that I have tried and that my NEET status is kept for yet another year. They might be pestering me to get a job then, but we return to the previous point: nothing gets done.
If my parents die I'm absolutely fucked though. However, that's when my suicide plan can really come into action. I can live a shitty life as a hikikomori NEET for decades and then kill myself as soon as I have to get my ass off to work. That's how you win at this normie system.
If you're in the US you would probably not be able to pull this off though.
