Same OP. My internet friend is just as nocturnal though plus moves between EU and US a lot for their job, means usually see messages within 7 hours maybe at most.
If I want to talk with people I choose a board and chat.

I always feel tired, but rarely ever feel sleepy. Recently I stayed awake for a day extra to try and rekick a natural sleeping pattern into place. I've done this twice already and I'm doing it again now (woke up at 17:00 and I'm planning on staying up until midnight tomorrow). It's not really working and tbqh I among other things I think it's a defect in my brain. I just want to sleep normally and not feel like shit all the time...

I've recently reverted to a siesta sleeping schedule so I don't have this problem as much any more
