Tips for getting rid of desires and build discipline? I want to read (I enjoy it, but my ADHD makes it very difficult) and I want to keep away from porn and junk food (nothing against them, they just became a chore rather than a source of enjoyment), but my desires always get the better of me.

Not really an option so I'll take the memes I guess.

reading - 5 pages a day
junk food - learn recipes with your favorite vegetables/fruits in them. Blenders are your friend. Nuts and legumes go great with them as well.
porn - sheer will-power. turn your attention away from the thoughts when they come by doing something else. it begins in the mind.

also, limit TV and internet consumption, they destroy your ability to focus.

All of this advice is junk. Bumping for actual advice.

>discipline
Discipline is just a track record of keeping your word. Start wherever, you probably have procrastination issues. Set things out each day, do them. If you can't do them, then get it done when you can. Such as walking 40mins a day, journaling, etc.
The longer and more consistent you get with simple tasks the better you can stay away from 'desires'. 'Desires' just mean you don't have enough shit to do in your life, so you think you have free reign. Who's in charge? You have to prove to yourself that you are the person in charge and thats a matter of time and effort.
For porn, cold showers especially extremely cold short showers end sexual desire. Also getting off the net, and if you really gotta fap not using the net for it. Coolridge effect will fuck you over like most anons.
For ADHD in particular, you might want to try reading 'Fiddle to Focus'. Its a book about ADHD sufferers and how they benefit from having music or something in the background that actually helps them concentrate more than quiet.
Also for junk food you can try reduction. Just say 'well I can only get half of what I usually get this time" and wean yourself off. The truth is that you need to be eating fruits as well because sugar is a drug and the addiction is real. You might want to try eating less breads and more veggies and meat because bread makes you hungry and veggies and meat don't.
