Basic I guess , graphic tees and plain colored shirts with work boots as of late

I don't know what any of those things are.
But anecdotally speaking, the guys I know that are into anime don't know how to dress or groom themselves. As in they don't shave, their clothes are ill fitting or they wear graphic tees that scream something, and they're horribly overweight or underweight.
For starters, if you're wearing work boots outside of work, stop. Buy shoes for outside of work.
