I've been playing RuneScape on and off for about 10 years. The game is essentially for lonely autists. All it is is grinding after grinding.
But now more people play 07 RuneScape than the current RuneScape, but I don't want to go back because I'm used to the new changes. All it is is clicking on something over and over and over until it gets you money or xp, so it's stimulating for retards like me.

I leveled my German Elite Assault with the Maschinenkarabiner 42 to max really quick.
Squadleaders also level fast as fuck.

I played mostly during the beta and during a few character releases though, so I guess about half of my playtime happened when there was only 3 characters and the idea of a new one (Karok) coming was pretty fucking cool which is what kept me coming back

If you like post apocalyptic try Metro 2033 and Last light. If your computer is good get the redux version it looks amazing.
It's not like Fallout or Stalker though, it's not an RPG but the levels are very well done atmosphere wise, the whole game is dripping with little details that draw you in. Also I'm not the type of person to get scared playing videogames but the library level in 2033 nearly made me shit my pants and I had a cold sweat the whole way through. Play on hardest difficulty/ranger mode for the best effect (it doesn't make things too much harder and enemies die in a few shots anyway)
