Yeah, mostly for drug related offenses. Of course if the laws were fair, niggers could just get rich off of dope dealing without much of a risk, and we can't have that.

Yeah, even when I was young, I was thinking about how crazy high the penalties for having weed and stuff are.
At least in some places, it's loosening up a bit.

I think a bigger problem is the complete lack of rehabilitation going on. Minor offenders are going in and coming out real criminals. Also having even a small record to your name is such a huge fucking stigma that it's very hard to start a life again and most just go right back to crime because of it.
