What colors best encapsulate the feeling of modern life? What colors will be associated with this year in the future? Why?

Those colors are utter vaporwave shit.

FUTURE COLOR COMING THRU
>>29432244
thats not the 80s, that's an ibm pc's colour palette.
50 shades of blue

I don't know, but I see 2016 and the 2010s in general as black with some shades of red and maybe very little yellow.
Lime green. "Dank", gratuitous, gross, flashy, offensive. Basically an all out assault on refined human sensibilities.

Take white and slowly make it brown. That's the future. There won't be a white race.

It's how I view the 80's, or at least an aspect of the 80's. Very abrasive, in your face, pleb colors. Flashy nightclubs, shitty music, drugs. I think you get the picture.

Something similar to this anon?

sounds like today desu.

The color palette and aesthetic are somewhat similiar, but distinct from one another.

I thought 90s had more color and 00s and 10s less.
>>29434189
the 90s "felt" very muted, although much of the fashion/decor was neon. i may be more rooted in grunge stuff though. (i can't say what the 80s felt like since i was not present; so i used the standard decor/fashion color scheme.)

I'm not sure about the lighting, but that looks a bit muted still.
the 00s were very bright, but "dirty".
The 10s are sickeningly colorful and bright.

90s had less color variation but had brighter colors. 00 and 11s had more color in everyday design but it's all dark and muted. bland in comparison
