Depends what you want. Therapists will treat you based on their philosophies. Traditional psychoanalysis is starting to be a thing of the past. Most practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and there is a growing number of third wave therapists that are about "mindfulness", which is a sort of stripped down meditation.
