Oh man, I had so much fun with this. I remember that I had to overlook my shitty VGA because on default clock there were no textures of objects, only their outlines.
Also helped me discover so much great music. Liberty Rock Radio with Iggy was the fucking best.

I was in 8th grade, so how ever old you are then.
I got a Dreamcast and loved it. Was pretty much my first real dive in playing videogames.
My brother and dad were out at the mall buying shit and stopped by the game store so my brother could get NFL 2Kwhatever
He saw Shenmue and thought I'd like it so they got it for me.
I got fucking hooked on it, I played it non-stop and beat the game in two days.

OP's choice is fantastic but Ape Escape 2's monkey football and ape escape 3's extravagant level design were so comfy you almost forgot how atrocious everything had gotten. Ridge racer type 4, ratchet and clank and the sims 1 are close calls but dudes... just listen.
