Have any of you tried living in your car for a while? I really want to leave my hometown and my only options are wasting money on a hotel, camping, or sleeping in my car. anyone have any experience with this?
Why are you leaving?
Living in your car is a good idea

I had a GMC Suburban, removed / folded down the seating for camping.
Pretty good rig,

I've slept in my car loads of times. Used to have a mazda rx8, would just pull the driver seat back and lean it back and I would sleep like a baby.
Granted, I'm known for being able to sleep anywhere.
Depends how long we're talking. Up to six months is fine but anything beyond that is going to fuck your back and make you crazy.
Just remember discretion. and to crack your windows a tiny bit to prevent fogging. If possible sleep in the boot with one of the back seats folded out slightly. Depending on how cold it gets you may be sleeping in a curled ball anyway.
That said living in your car is better than living with shitty housemates
