Why are teenagers and young adults so attracted to energy drinks?
The same reasons wageslaves love coffee. (Also energy are marketed as being really hip and cool)

I'm in my mid twenties and really like the non carbonated monster rehab drinks. I drink a lot of coffee too, but sometimes I'd rather have a beverage that's a little sweeter and more refreshing than a cup of coffee for my daily caffeine intake.
My guess is that younger kids don't care for the bitterness of coffee but like the chemical effects of caffeine. It wasn't till I was 18 or 19 before I began to enjoy coffee anyway

Those are definitely the best ones for casual drinking, the peach tea and the raspberry tea one are my favorites. The carbonated ones are good mixers with clear liquors though.

I legitimately enjoy the taste, but it's far too expensive to drink regularly.
As for Coffee, I started drinking mine black in my artsy edgy teen stage, and never stopped
