My dad just bought a new car with a stupid high interest because he has bad credit, so my gift is some cash to cover the first monthly payment, and continue to do so for a while. I was just gonna give him the first 6 months today but my sister said he might take offense to that, and to just offer it every month instead.
Also got him a jedi card, and my sister is cooking breakfast.

My Dad's dead, I actually had a vaguely unpleasant dream recently where he was alive and acting like an asshole.
Unfortunately, I don't know my father. He left the day my mom brought me home from the hospital. I guess it's no wonder I wound up here with you robots. I tried looking him up, but he's dead now; I found his obituary a few years ago.

My dad is lying under the ground since I was around 14. It was a tough life with my dad. He told me when he was angry that he would do something to me. Seeing those red eyes scared the shit outta me. He was beyond repair:

I can only imagine what people with real abusive fathers must go through. My dad rarely physically hit me, it was mostly threatening to do so.
Since my mother was also hurt a lot by my dad, I have made the decision to not be in a relationship until I was emotionally stable. I am 25 and feel like that has only happened around now.
I am quite anxious of women wanting to be in a relationship for the wrong reasons. I fear my trust would be broken and I plunge back in depression or worse another psychosis. I need someone I can build upon.

My grandfather was the one who taught me how to swim, how to ride a bike, how to take care of animals, how to survive in the wilderness. He told me that exercise is important, that believing in yourself should be above having others admire you. To always do the right thing not because you get a reward, but because it's the right thing.
He saved my life twice.
4 years back he got into a car accident with his friend. A drunk driver rammed their car and they both died on the spot, while the drunk driver walked away with a few years of community service, because he was a "good boy", aka the son of a very well known political family.
Got flowers for his grave and cleaned up the area. Just stayed there for abit over two hours.

Father was cyborg tier (wasnt Chad but wasnt complete robot) and mom was tomboyish (athletic in her youth - played basketball and did some canoeing ). Father still has some mother issues because grandma is somewhat strict and tries to dictate other lives (paternal grandpa keeps drinking because of he cant handle her ). Mom was abandoned by maternal grandma because she found another lover, so basically she grew up with father and step-mother. Apparently my maternal grandpa was very alike to me but he died because of cancer when i was 2.
