At least the rodent, in it's last seconds, can take solace in the fact that it's death is kindling for the fire that fuels this gorgeous creature forward
Despite it's absolut superiority over every single other animal that has, does, and will ever exist, some lowly, envious beasts try to take away from the unmatched grandness of the Barn Owl.
These animals include the fat and disgusting Rocoon and cowardly Opossums, who sneak up on the Owl while it slumbers. It's an act of pitiful envy.

The efforts of lowly criminals such as Raccoons and Opossums are minimal and insignificant, as Barn Owl's conservation status is Least Concern, meaning they are far from extinction. They're spread far and wide throughout the world (barring asia and canada, but what's the difference).
