Other threads have recently addressed this issue tangencially, but I am posting with regards to trademarking and patenting elements of /r9k/.
As an unemployed J.D., I understand elements of U.S. intellectual property. This board is among the most creative place I have ever experienced. I predict the memes developed here will one day be among the most valuable artistic properties to exist. However, I cannot simply file with the patent office due to the fact that I did not create the property. The board did technically, but we should monetize now in order to take full advantage.
How do you feel we should go about organizing so I can develop I can develop a filing and jacket to trademark?
