I'm 19 and have a fivehead, but I'm not balding. I went to a hair doc a few months back and they used this microscope camera to zoom in on the hairs and see how many were thinning. Doctor said I was under 6% fine hair, and balding is anything over 20%, as even non-balding men can have up to 20%.
After worrying about my hairline all through highschool I went home the happiest I've ever been that day.
I've since embraced the fivehead.

I'm 26 and I'm okay with it now. Not me on the picture, but mine is quite like that one. Maybe it's even worse. It started to recede when I was 19 and I felt really self conscious about it back then. In fact, when I was 20 I started to wear baseball caps every single day to college. I did this for 4 years! When I was 23 I grew it out. I thought that it would be easier to hide the spots like that. Big mistake. It wasn't. In fact, it looked way worse. Last year I trimmed it down and just accepted it.

Have had long, curly hair since I was a teenager. One of the few things people said was attractive about me.
I'm 24 and I've noticed I'm developing (or have developed) a widow's peak and it seems like the hair at the front of my hairline is uneven.
