Drinking is pathetic.
having dependence on anything is pathetic

Drinking=/=being dependent on drink though
>>29372474
I pity alcoholics, but if someone is just comfortably drunk then I feel envy more than pity.
Good thing I'm pathetic in so many other ways that I dont have to feel bad about op judging me for going to the fridge right now and grabbing a beer.
But a nice cold beer on a hot day?
Fuck, that can be awesome.
6 days sober now. I really hope I can make it this time.

Doesn't matter as long as you're not the kind of guy who goes on drunken rampages or as long as you don't have kids depending on you.

Good luck, lad. Stay strong!

>Drinking swill is pathetic
I agree.
In a much more civilized society, not so long ago, men used to laugh and sneer at teetotalers, because teetotalers couldn't handle life and complained about others having no trouble with it. Sounds like another case of "I can't have this, why should you have it?"

In my experience people still do, maybe not as much to their face but it certainly goes on.
But then again there's a big difference between those who are sober because they have had issues with alcoholism in the past, in which case they tend to get a degree of respect, and those who are sober "on principle" or for whatever other reason they come up with.
I bet you were the ones that get laughed at for not being able to stomach a budlight at the only party you were ever invited to.

>he didn't train himself with Steel Reserve and Yukon Jack
You only have yourself to blame, faggot.

Sure, it'll happen at parties and shit - but teetotalers changed the American workplace and it's only gotten worse ever since. Maybe correlation =/= causation, but I think drinking at work was a bonding activity which was never replaced with anything of similar effect.

I still drink at work
I just make sure nobody else notices
>>29372969
The fuck are you talking about? I drink malt like water.
>>29372474
It's true but I'm just pathetic in general so I'm not too concerned.
How do I stop drinking?
Everything is better with a little bit of alcohol. Socialising, hanging out alone, work, leaving the house, having a shower. So I can't seem to stop
>t. 150lbs nerd virgin that never attended a party XD
Why does partying seem like the MAIN thing in life for normies, like it's the one thing they were put on this Earth for?
> starting drinking every other day at home alone while I watch anime/movies until I get quite drunk
I'm starting to get concerned... The other day I was just thinking about getting home to watch something and drink some whiskey
