Gears of war is going to be 10 years old in a few months. Gears was my first online gaming experience. I thought I was good until I played online and got my ass handed to me by more experienced people. It's very surreal realizing that time just keeps on going when you don't. All my old friends I played with back in HS have hopped on the grown up boat and I'm still standing on shore looking at them from a distance as we grow more distant. They're nothing more than just a speck in the vast sea of life and I'm too afraid to swim and too dumb to build a boat to catch up.
I think about them every day because I can afford too since I have no real responsibilities compared to them. They have homes, careers, and family life's to tend to. They probably don't think of me at all.

Where do you see yourselves in 2030?
I'll be 39 that year. I plan on finishing my phd and having my own medical devices company (I don't think I would work there long so I could either sell it or serve on the board only). I hope to own a house on some property that I can start my farm on, hopefully it's near some state parks that I can hike at with some bodies of water to go kayaking. I've always wanted to become an essayist so I hope to have either a successful blog or a collection of essays that gets published. I'd also like to be married by then with a few kids.
