Get a steam.accoint, find a multiplayer knline game you like, meet some folks send friend reqiests to everuone you play with. Eventually you will get messages asking fkr you to play a game. Get one you can play with for a few hours non stop, and give them a little gift (optional). ask them when they can play again, repeat.

Ask for an invite to a casual reddit
Join their discord server and become buddies

Everywhere on the internet? It's all about initializing talking with someone. You can't just wait for someone to start talking to you, or send you a friend request.
But some good places to meet people

Vidya bros are the best bros. Some of the best online friends I have met was from playing vidya. Just send a request to someone that looks cool, and start chatting away. 9/10 chance they will be cool.
