I'm going to wait until I have about $100k, and buy a small house in a small town. Then I will live there, save another $100k and buy another house. I'll rent out the first house. The goal is to have 3-4 rental properties by the time I'm 40 so I can retire.

Feels good man. Would recommend if you can handle being away from home 24/7. Recruiters will tell you you will be home every weekend but that is a big lie. Most common is 20 days out 2 days home time. But I never go home unless I have a doctor's appointment or need to do something at the DMV or something. I can't stand my family, hence why I got into trucking to get away.
