What does it feel like to own a house?
>>29352712
One of favourite shots.
Reminds me of a house that was on the hill just before our country home.

I moved to the city, thinking it would be maximum comfy. Now I just feel alienated, and have no idea how to socialize. Any thought, friendos?

Can you be more specific? Also cities are comfy because you're a small part of a huge thing.

I just graduated from a technical university with my B.S. and M.S. after 5 years, and got a nice analysts job. I tried to go out tonight, but I ended up getting dinner by myself. I hate to sound like a stereotypical arcnine, but everyone just seemed like 'normies', and I couldn't deal with it.
After 5 years of university, I'm used to friendships just happening because of close proximity and shared classes, and now I don't know how to actually socialize.
Like, how do I go to a bar and strike up a conversation without looking like a loser?
It's a scary world, anon, and I'm not sure I can attack it yet.
It's weird because I have traveled a lot, and I've felt comfortable doing that. I dunno.

Work is the best place to make friends in my experience. Even though I'm not really close to a lot of the people I work with we still go out for lunch together and have a good laugh. Volunteer work is also great because you meet a lot of nice people.
