It takes a certain kind of person to take that dive. You cannot rule it out entirely. Surely. I don't want to think about it.

We subconsciously accept our tragic fate.
It splits actually. Our will to live and our subconscious pessimism is basically a Ying and yang. It tears us apart.
Picking any side is delusional. Anybody that claims to be full on pessimist or optimist is deluding themselves. But that's not a bad thing though.
The only logical thing to do is to just keep on floating and live for what you believe in until you crash.
