wew lad
>>29336141
that song really is anon read the lyrics if you cant understand
Why did you post a pic of yourself robot
Is it because you seek validation
>>29336186
Couldn't find a good pic to go with the thread and because I like aesthetics.but that too kind of i went through some shit recently and validation seems nice
>>29336213
If you like aesthetics, why did you post a picture of you face?
I'm just fuckin'.
Have you spent 10,000 hours practicing yet?
Don't want the thread to die so here's another one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VRigKyQ5FuM
The game may be Tumblr-tier but the soundtrack is tearduct destroying.

My main string instrument is a viola, but I've always had a soft spot for the cello and my uni director knows that I'm autist-level when it comes to learning instruments so he usually lets me borrow the ones I'm interested in. I can play about eight instruments well at this point, and play about 7 other ones decently.
Literally the most based guy I know tbqh.
My main instrument is the bass trombone, though.

Here's a fairly obscure one that I have a really big soft spot for. Any other people who watch Vinny might recognize it.

(I put it at that starting time because the minute and a half prior is just a bunch of weird sounds)

wew pretty motherfucking based tbqh

As a musician myself ( I went to Berklee ), I'll tell you that unless you spend extreme amounts of time on a specific path, you'll end up nowhere.
>>29336390
The whole album is great actually, check it out.
hey op give this a spin unless ur some kind of loser

Oh yeah, I spend like a solid 90% of my practicing on the good ol' silver beast, and the other 10% on other shit as a hobby.
>>29336461
Nice, that's how I am with guitar. It sucks to see people with talent squander it by being spread too thin.
If you want something to bring tears to your eyes.. YouTube "have you ever cover", I don't have the link but it's three rnb singers standing in a circle, you'll recognize it. I think it has a little less than 100,000 views.
>>29336087
This is the most emotionally devastating piece of music I've ever listened to, and I am a devout /mu/tant, so that's saying something.

Good to know there are more /musicians/ on /r9k/
>i originally played tenor trombone (the one you see everywhere)
>wanted to play bass trombone since literally every low brass player (baritone, tuba, trombone) was gunning for it
>was the second to ask for it
>first guy got a shiny newer golden-colored bass trombone
>i got the only other one they had
>very old looking silver one, tiny dents and scratches all over it
>i play way better than the other guy so wonder why this happened
>if you didn't know, a CHEAP bass trombone is around $4,000, a quality one is like $6,000 at the cheapest
>don't ask him about it and try to be grateful
>ask him to bring it home to practice because i need to practice for band auditions (we have tiered bands)
>immediately gets angry and says no, wonder why but just go with it
>get into the top tier band at the uni without trying very hard with the bass trombone
>director is visibly impressed
>gives me the right to bring it home to practice
>out of boredom look up the model to see how much it costs
>find the model, search it on google
>no results
>confused, think it must be a mistake
>find ONE result with the exact model name i gave
>it has a picture of another bass trombone like mine at an old mid-2000's website
>mfw i realize i probably have a discontinued instrument
>mfw it's probably worth at least 30 grand
Well I know why he didn't want me to bring it home now.
>>29336707
That's pretty fucking awesome. I had a guitar my dad passed down to me but I smashed it in rage. Now I have this $200 ibanez acoustic ( yes you heard that right ) but it actually has good action ( meaning it plays well ), especially for the price.
>>29336816
>I had a guitar my dad passed down to me but I smashed it in rage
why would you do that
>>29336946
My gf and I were fighting, I wasn't thinking right.. Wish I hadn't done it. It was a beautiful Gibson with a sunburst finish, he had it since he was my age.. yeah..

I know the feels. A few years ago my neighbor (a 85 year old man) that was really friendly to my family gave me a slide ruler. Not that special right?
Yeah, that was a slide ruler used to build the Hoover Dam. I don't even know how much it's worth. I got angry one night at some shit and hit it against a wall, didn't realize how old it was, and it broke in half.

This band isn't a sadfeels thing, and I've never heard of them prior to this thread
However this is making me feel a really weird feel that I can't quite describe. The song is like a mellow fucking ominous tone, and I like it

I like the pic actually. It does look aesthetic, I like how you combined vaporwave with a traditional instrument.

One of my favorite songs in general. It's about the UK countryside I believe, but it can interpreted other incredibly feelsy ways.
It's raining men, hallelujah
It's raining men, AMEN
