I want to start having a social life but I have no idea where to begin. I've been a shutin during my formative years so I never really got to be part of a social group or various social activities.
Now I feel the need for friendship and socializing but I can't seem to plug myself into life. I'm 24 y/o, kv. Not that it bothers me, I'm willing to work on it but I have no idea how.
Any tips?

Nothing stands out to be honest, I guess I'm decent at programming but I wasn't trained as a programmer (chem eng. degree). I like nutrition as well.

If you live in a big city, go to tech meetups and try to make some friends. Just be as outgoing as possible and don't worry if you sperg all over the place -- they're used to it, and you'll get better.

That's when I started to try and have a bigger social life. It's not much, but it's there.

Well, I was thinking of going another direction since I'm kinda getting sick of tech., my main problem is that I don't have a social foundation to built upon. I'd give anything to be back in high school.
