>Very close online friend is killing himself
>Couldn't talk him out of it
>He cut contact with me
I don't know how I'm going to begin to cope with this, it's going to destroy me and I'm already crying now.
I lost two online friends to suicide. I suspect there might be a third because he suddenly disappeared after losing his job. (you'd think he'd spend more time online. But this was months ago).
I know the feeling. You feel like you're a terrible friend if you couldn't convince them. I still feel the guilt to this day.
I am alone IRL. I don't want to be alone online too.
Replace that guilt with anger.
Your friend sounds like an idiot.

Maybe if you went to Hell with him, you'd be able to bring him back, faggot

I'm sorry, anon. Me personally, another online friend and I have both talked my other online friend out of suicide, sometimes people get lucky, and sometimes they don't. Again, I'm sorry about your loss, but if you did your best to talk them out of it, you at least tried.

He's not, although I disagree with some of his decisions, e.g., suicide, refusing to accept help.
I can't get angry with him. I only hold compassion towards him.

Worst thing is you can't really tell anyone about it because they won't understand.
