Tried nofap when I was like 16 and really awkward. Almost definitely placebo though I did feel more confident and better about myself.
Ultimately if you have an addiction to anything putting in diligence to quit it will make you feel good. If you think you have a porn addiction, try it out. Otherwise don't bother. There's no real pros to it.
The pro is too use the energy and placebo too make changes to your life as you go not sit at a computer and look at porn all day. So it doesn't change your life it just gives you a tiny boost of energy to do it
