Try taking lexapro or paxil or any SSRI class antidepressant really, it makes you come down pretty fast. I get really messy comedowns from acid where I slip in and out of thinking everything is ridiculous sometimes until maybe noon the next day after I trip.
I sometimes have this problem as well OP, try using your brain to focus on something reallu specific until it tires from it. Make sure you dont jump to anything else, will yourself to keep track of whats happening. Normally i create a fantasy type story almost as if im reading a novel and keep going over whats happening, not letting myself stray from the dream-scape ive created. Eventually the story molds into a dream as i drift off
