Therapy is expensive and mostly a meme, but I recommend you do some psychology reading. Two books that helped me a lot are The games that people play and Toxic parents. You can find decent stuff in general psychology books, like DSM.
Also sorry about your father, it must have sucked to grow up with a narcissistic parent. I don't think I will ever have children myself, mostly for this reason.

Idk. Apologies are not part of the NPD arsenal (not blatant ones - you should avoid owning up to responsibility if npd). And don't NPD's usually discard? I think most targets of someone NPD are too weak to leave someone NPD.

As far as I know, there are two type of narcissists: the thick and the thin skinned ones. I am the latter.
I have a fucking inflated sense of self importance, especially for a fat fuckup. I usually expect special treatment, and it leads to conflicts at my everyday life, eg. my university. I am sadly almost completely oblivious to the needs of others. Most of the time I feel empty, and I have a crippling sense of inferiority. I also manage to blame women as a whole for most of my own shortcomings.
I'm not sure if I answered your question, english is not my first language. I have never been diagnosed, but I am a psychology major (shitty major, I know), and I'm pretty sure I'm right on the fucking money.
