isn't Scientology just a but of cultists

Last thing that caught my attention was a medical textbook for practitioners.
Before that, let's see, excepting a foreign language grammar, a biography of a ruler and a magnate, an introduction to astronomy and, briefly, archeology.
Not bad at all. From what I read, excepting an occasional STEM textbook, most robots are into 'philosophical' or 'psychological' religious stuff.

Scientology is great. Not only is L. Ron Hubbard a great author, he literally started scientology to make money. Pretty sure he fell for his own meme towards the end though.
Anyway we all strive to be L. Ron Hubbard
>>29302255
Pretty much.
I found the book in a local bookstore, someone converted out of the church, and dumped all their texts. I just grabbed the one I thought looked like a stating manual, to see how fucked it is.
>>29302209
Have you read, "The Stranger"? It's supposed to be a book in the absurd. I've been meaning to read it, but haven't got around to it. If you have, is it any good?
>>29302258
I read a lot of stuff like that too anon. Just textbooks or really educational stuff, just because I like learning. I've been reading a encyclopedia on fish keeping, and another book about horseshoe crabs and velvet worms. All good stuff.
>>29302264
Isn't it very wordy? I've been wanting to read that too, just out of morbid curiosity. I read the Quran for the same reason. It was pretty good as far as morbid doctrines are concerned.

M'lady.

a cult it is then.
the only difference is your not drinking cyanide flavored soda just reading some fedora lords bullshit
I just finished reading Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. Dick. It was amazing. Currently reading Shanghai Girls by Lisa See. Ghost reading The Plague by Camus. It's short but hard to get through because the French to English translation feels stilted and unnatural, so I'm taking my time with it.
>>29302397
Not that anon, but the Stranger is amazing. A great read.
>>29302397
I wonder what OT level that book is anon, post details please, could be the shit they pretend doesn't exist.

Surviour by Chuck Palahniuk, seriously dont understand why people seem to always hate his books.
He always writes the same kind of demented satire but his books never fail to impress me.
>>29302422
You should read Fear by Hubbard. It's widely considered to be one of the first horror novels. It's really weird and psychological and honestly made me respect him.
>>29302510
Survivor is one of his earliest books and is really good. Later novels like Snuff and Tell-All really really suck though. But there are some gems.he's my favorite author
My home reading atm normally have a secondhand sci-fi paperback in my bag to read when I'm out the house.
Pretty good so far been reading about south american history for a while now so it's a nice book to accompany that.

No, I haven't. But I assume it's just the whole scientology = horrible labor camp thing.
It's true, and I don't really like scientology, I'm just curious.

OP here, I was reading a book on native Americans that talked extensively about the ancient history of the South American indians. Very interested. I hope you're enjoy learning about that area as I did!

It's titled, "The Creation of Human Ability". In the book it says it's a manual of some sort, and it's part of the religious literature. No idea what OT level it is though, it's probably low.

Is it For the Potion Master's Amusement? I used to love that one.

>>29302830
Thanks I'll check it out. I'm from the UK never really learn much if anything about south america up until recently.
>>29302397
No I haven't. I probably should sometime soon considering I've read Myth of Sisyphus
>>29303115
Nonono, that's not the book I was talking about.
I was discussing the scientology manual I'm reading.
The book I was talking about dealing with south America was called, "The Dictionary of the Daily Life of Native Americans".
It has a lot of interested stuff, but it's a long book (several books, actually) and it's very in depth. Very good if you want to learn about everything native Americans did/where or interacted with.

He made a cult I guess.
I'm OP.
The book is pretty
Well
I don't know.
Carpenter did better.
L. Ron Hubbard's wording is confusing even though it could easily not be.
Mr. Carpenter didn't even speak English and he did a better job.
